New Bankruptcy & Restructuring page

Office's bankruptcy page has been replaced with the new Bankruptcy & Restructuring page.

This a fully new page, with a modern and mobile-friendly layout, and a better navigation between features.

The page's new Financial Health tab provides a quick overview of your airline's finances and clearly displays any active bankruptcy warnings. The closure options now explain their consequences more clearly, and the final confirmation requires the exact airline name to reduce accidental closures.

If you have reached the limit of five airline restarts in a game world, you can now reset the limit by paying the normal game joining fee, usually 5 Credits, directly from the Bankruptcy page without leaving and rejoining the game.

The old Bankruptcy page will remain available temporarily as a backup.

The completely new Airline Restructuring features will be added to the new page in later updates - stay tuned.

Airbus A350 data update

We've updated the aircraft with revised specifications, including new ULR variants, performance update (fuel figures), additional weight options, more accurate range and cargo data, updated passenger capacities, and more accurate engine information.

These updates are applied to all future game worlds, and also currently running History and the Future and The Age of Flight games.

Airline Restructuring feature

The restructuring feature has now been added to the new Bankruptcy & Restructuring page.

Financially distressed airlines can prepare a recovery plan to raise cash and reduce costs instead of closing down. Available measures can include fleet reductions, base closures, staff reductions, loan extensions, aircraft order cancellations and other recovery actions.

The complete plan and its financial effects are shown before confirmation. After restructuring, the airline enters a supervision period and receives temporary protection from a new bank warnings while it begins its recovery. During this time opening new bases and acquiring additional aircraft is not possible at all.

Restructuring is intended as a rare last-resort option and becomes unavailable again for 50 game years after use.

New in-game Messages inbox

The in-game Messages page has been fully updated with a new mobile-compatible layout, message importance levels and categories, filtering and search, and improved message management.

You can also now choose which messages are shown in site-wide notifications from your airline settings.

New Flight Delays page

The Flight Delays page has been completely renewed.

The new page gives a much clearer view of airline punctuality, delays and cancellations, with 7, 14 and 30 day views, comparison with the previous matching period, and daily charts.

Delay and cancellation causes are now broken down in more detail, and the new Problem Areas tab highlights issues such as poorly performing routes, airport delay hot spots, tight turnarounds, staff shortages and aircraft in poor condition.

The page is also fully updated for the AirwaySim v2.0 interface and mobile use.

Aircraft Payload & Range charts updated

Aircraft Payload & Range charts have been redesigned with a new mobile-friendly layout and improved interactive range data.

Different seat, engine, weight and upgrade configurations can now be compared directly on the same page. A new range calculator also lets you check whether the selected aircraft configuration can meet a given range or passenger requirement.
