Feature requests / Re: Scheduling Page
Last post by Sami - May 26, 2026, 08:28:26 PMSo, as noted in the latest Changelog, the old scheduling page is now retired from use, since I have not received any major issue reports in over 2-3 weeks now, so it seems to be stable.
There are a few items still on my to-do list for the new page (new minor feature additions discussed here and in Discord), and the Discord channel and this forum thread remains open for further improvement ideas and possible issue reports.
The 7-day scheduling concept's native implementation is one major new feature still to come. Ideally it requires also the new Route Editor, but depending on the final outcome of my tests, I might implement it already before that to Scheduling (won't be optimal to use it from there, but would be a start anyway). More info to come later on this.
Basically you just create a single route for all 7 days, then in Scheduling's Add Flight you see only a single route. Then you choose the days you wish to add for *this* aircraft's schedule (or all of them), and there you go.
When you need to edit, you have only a single route to edit/adjust.
Big plan is that the scheduling will actually happen from Route Editor directly, but we need this 7-day compatibility also to Scheduling directly since both of them need to work with this 🙂
(The 7-day scheduling has never been officially designed, nor an official feature, and just something that users have come up with, but with the 2.0 upgrade I'll try to include it into the system like it should)

Last post by groundbum2 - May 26, 2026, 03:54:10 PMthe game is strictly point to point. Players have asked for over a decade for the concept of hubs and connecting passengers, or passenger CBD, but no news yet.

General forum / Re: Graph for each route ratin...
Last post by groundbum2 - May 26, 2026, 03:52:50 PMwhat's "route rating"? Do you mean "route image"? The data is on the route image page, though not graphical but is ordered low to high..
If you want a graph showing the pax and cargo on, say 200, routes that would be no-no, as AWS wants you to spend time hunting and pecking route planning to find routes for new flights. If this info was on one page it would make the game too easy, Most people keep the numbers in a spreadsheet or notebook..

Announcements - The Modern Times / Japan Aero Transit: Farewell o...
Last post by Archer619 - May 26, 2026, 09:15:56 AMJapan Aero Transit: Farewell of the Boeing 747
OSAKA, JAPAN (30-DEC-2007)
===
Japan Aero Transit (JAT) announced a major update to its fleet strategy, marking the official retirement and farewell of its legendary Boeing 747 fleet. The iconic aircraft will be succeeded by the modern Airbus A330, which now becomes JAT's new flagship widebody model across our primary routes.
Honoring a Fleet Pioneer
The Boeing 747 played a vital role in JAT's early expansion. With its massive capacity of up to 500 passengers, the 747 wrote an incredible chapter in aviation history.
It successfully changed the industry by proving how mass transit could connect communities efficiently. JAT expresses its deepest gratitude to our crew, engineers, and passengers who shared this unforgettable journey with the "Queen of the Skies."
The Airbus A330 Era: Efficiency and Comfort
As we look to the future, the transition to the Airbus A330 represents a highly practical upgrade for our airline.
For our passengers, the new flagship Airbus A330 brings a much more comfortable travel experience, featuring improved seating configurations, more personal space, and advanced in-flight technology.
Green Transition and Corporate Sustainability
From an operational perspective, this fleet modernization introduces several key benefits that support our sustainability goals and corporate standing:
Unwavering Focus on Domestic and Regional Service
Looking ahead, Japan Aero Transit remains fully committed to its core strategy: serving our Japanese domestic trunk lines and our key East Asian regional destinations. The shift to the Airbus A330 ensures we can maintain our high operational standards while offering a more reliable and eco-friendly service.
JAT will continue to work hard every day to elevate our standards and provide the best possible hospitality to every customer who travels with us.

- Environmental Commitments: The Airbus A330's advanced aerodynamics greatly reduce carbon emissions. This aligns perfectly with JAT's core Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) green transition targets, a move highly favored by our long-term investors and partners.

General forum / Network Effect?
Last post by epicfail1001 - May 26, 2026, 08:18:17 AMHello, have read the manual and some forum posts but feel confused by contradicting information. Does this game simulate the network effect? What I mean is does adding more routes connecting more locations to your hub increase overall demand for travel to/through your hub? Or is the passenger demand purely point to point and there's no benefit to expanding more routes out from your hub other than the profit of this individual routes alone? If you have a hub in Honolulu with a route to SF and to Tokyo does any of the passengers or demand from one route carry over to the other beacuse your hub connects these routes?
