Announcements - The Modern Times / Devon Airlines issues warning ...
Last post by Devon98 - September 05, 2025, 12:29:54 PMDevon Airlines continues its rapid growth, posting over $1 billion in pre-tax profits for the third consecutive quarter. Dominating passenger traffic at Sydney and Brisbane airports, the airline has now set its sights on expanding into Melbourne.
When asked about the possibility of establishing a base in Perth following a recent competitor bankruptcy, CEO Devon commented:
"The next two to three years will be challenging, but we do intend to open a base in Perth. We're just not rushing it—the pace of new aircraft deliveries is too slow to adequately support our existing bases at the moment."
Addressing the recovery of rival OASYS from its financial troubles, CEO Devon quipped:
"I'm not sure why they dropped their New York flights. Honestly, they should be bolder and fly the 747s and A380s! That would certainly win them plenty of passengers."
Fly the spirit of adventure with Devon Airlines, Australia's gateway to worldwide travel.

General forum / Re: Relocate Aircraft
Last post by groundbum2 - September 05, 2025, 06:32:13 AMbut in the meantime if you have a similar type aircraft at base you could transfer it's schedule to the incoming used aircraft, and shift the aircraft to where you want it..

General forum / Re: New Fleet Commonality feed...
Last post by Flightsimer - September 04, 2025, 04:22:15 PMSami, it looks like there is some missing commonality between early Pratt Jet Engines.
The JT3C (called the J-57 in military applications) -> JT3D turbo fan version of the JT3C
The J-57 -> J-52 (which was a simplified development of the original J-57)
The J-52 -> JT-8D (which was the commercial turbofan version developed for civilian use)
I would say its fair that between series numbers, the commonality would be the greatest, but there should be some between the 3->8 as well.

Announcements - The Modern Times / OASYS Perseveres
Last post by TheTransitBandit - September 03, 2025, 07:30:53 PMDespite major financial setbacks, OASYS continues to persevere through a difficult market. Unfortunately, this has meant that we will be suspending our nonstop Sydney-New York service as we stem fiscal losses from our revolutionary 777-200LR aircraft and their revolutionary leasing costs.
Don't worry though, OASYS will continue to expand in the near future as we sort out our temporary financial difficulties. We have taken delivery of several brand-new Boeing 737 aircraft, which will be used to expand our short-haul and medium-haul route networks. We are also continuing to offer the remainder of our existing network of short-haul and long-haul services, with non-stop service to destinations in Oceania, Asia, Africa and North America from our convenient hubs in Sydney and Perth. We hope to return with a more cheerful update in the near future as we continue on our journey to become Australia's largest airline.
As always, with OASYS, the world is a step away.

Last post by eleytheria - August 31, 2025, 07:58:49 AMQuoteNew features
Partial Commonality feature ("Fleet Similarity Bonuses") added. Similar models, such as A320 and A330 can now benefit from cost savings based on similarity between fleets.
Is there a list of all the models in the game that are affected by the Partial Commonality feature? I read about 757/756 and the example above and I know about the Saab 340/2000 but are there more?
