This is true, but one must scale their operation for their airport choice or slightly over scale with a singular fleet type to lessen overhead.

Well, that's realistic, IMHO. I'd even say it's already better than reality. Currently playing in MPL, with far more flights than in the real world. I also had bases in remote areas like Visby or Poznan, and could fill them an unrealistic way. If Visby has as much demand as Heathrow, what is the point of playing in Heathrow?

which is natural : where there is demand, there is competition. Noone folllowed me in Visby. Guess why? Increase Visby's demand, and you'll have s***loads of opponents there.

There is a new system under the works called City-based demand that will help your cause. That said, don't expect miracles.

I think the pax demand generator should have the ability to shift demand among days to allow operations on low demand routes in less times a week. For example, open a route with an average of 7 pax/day (49 pax/week) and, over time, part of the weekly demand shifts to the day you're flying so that you can fill like 25-30 seats in that route. The same thing could be applied for cargo, too.

Yes, it’d be nice to dedicate a once or twice weekly service to low demand LH destinations with 50-70 daily pax demand that can shift to that once weekly frequency and fill a plane on that once weekly flight. It would also require a recalculation to RI of course to maintain desirability.
