Next game world starts on 29th April
« on: April 24, 2010, 01:54:44 PM »
Since the latest opened game world, Modern Times #2, filled out to maximum number of players very quickly a next new game world will be opened soon. The date is set to thursday 29th April, at approximately 12.00 UTC.

Scenario of the this game world will include the whole world, and all aircraft models, and starting year is around year 2000.

I would like to ask those peoplo who are already playing Modern Times #2 to give a chance for those who couldn't join the new game, to join that one.

For example, i have classes in the morning (Brazil is UTC -3), so i won't be able to join in the "moment the game is open", like many other people (Marteen Otto will be traveling).

You will have plenty of time to join the world, it will not fill up in minutes nor hours.

Here we go.... Thats the first one to pull out early. If it was up to me I would force you to stay where you are. You joined that particular scenario for a reason. If you want to leave your giving up... You might give your airline another try with diffrent tactics before pulling the plug. St. Mary's (UK) is absolutely competition free. But there are many, many mid sized airports to build up a 60 aircraft company and give your compet***ors a seriouse headache.

1: what's up your ass? 2: I inquired about the time frame for this new game world that would open up after MT2 before the MT2 even started and was given no exact time frame of when the game world would take place. I was given no choice, but to join MT2 assuming that there would be no future game worlds that took place in the beginning of the 21st century. Thankfully I can leave MT2 and join a world that I'm more accustomed to that's fairly similar to MT1. I'm not giving up and would like to stay in both worlds if it didn't cost me more tokens. There was no clear or concise plan for scenarios for the next game world so it gave many of us no choice but to join MT2 in fear that the next game world would not be what we were looking for.

I believe I might switch from MT2 to this one mainly for the fact that 21st Centrury is much better for a LCC with higher demand and more fuel efficient aircraft. I would stick around in both but my credit limit is low so its one or the other. I am yet to decide

Hi Guys i'm very new to this but exiting one world to enter another doesn't make much sence especially on a cost basis, aren't credits something like one tenth of a euro for a week, in my country a coffee costs 4 euro (40 weeks play)?

The actual price of 1 Credit depends largely on how you buy them, more is cheaper in relation. (10Cr = €5 => 1Cr = €0.5,  or 50Cr = €22.5 => 1 Cr = €0.45).

But let's assume you bought a 10-pack .. You've played some game world for 3 weeks, which is 5+1+1 Cr (5 to join and first week, then 1 per week), and then join another world, 'costing' you another 5Cr .. Naturally you "lose" there 4 weeks (or 4Cr, or €2) of play time in the other world with the same Credit amount if you leave the other world alltogether and join a second world instead. As the Cr system is made so that the longer you stay in a game world the cheaper it will be for a single day, which s natural - overall the game cost is indeed the about €0.07 - €0.14 / day (again depending on how long you play in a world, and how you bought the credits etc, but averaging about 0.1€/day). So jumping back and forth between worlds isn't that recommended.

But life's full of choices ... And you can also play in many worlds at the same time too.

Do what? :laugh: There are a full 24 hours sami gives us for everyone who wants to join. Set your clock, know how your game plan is going to start, and start it, if its that important to you. I think what you are asking is just, well, silly for lack of a better word. Everyone will do as they please as they always do. AND WE DO. ::) P.S. Would someone gimme 20 slots at ATL please? :)
