Since the latest opened game world, Modern Times #2, filled out to maximum number of players very quickly a next new game world will be opened soon. The date is set to thursday 29th April, at approximately 12.00 UTC.

Scenario of the this game world will include the whole world, and all aircraft models, and starting year is around year 2000.
Any surprises or enhancements? :)

Does anybody actually know what scenario the next game world will be? Also, I'd appreciate it if you could spell out the full name rather than just giving the acronym (we're not all familiar with AirwaySim jargon ;D)

And also, given that it's starting around the year 2000, does anybody have any suggestions for cash-cow planes that one might find on the used market? Is the strategy generally to go for capacity and range?

Thanks,

If Sami keeps to names already used then it might be ATB, which is Air Travel Boom (although these generally start mid-90s) so it may get a new name.

737s, A320s and MD-80s are always the best to get going I've found, but some larger aircraft work well too like A300s/B757/B767s etc.  It depends on the initial market you target.  The players that grow the fastest just stuff C-class and F-class seats into high business/first demand routes at the start and then reconfigure later.  A 'jammy' tactic I think, but it works.  I personally don't like it as it's not very realistic, but it depends what you want from AWS.

Already full.  I had hoped to make my comeback to the game with this scenario.  I guess not...

In fairness it took about 36 hours to fill up. Much slower than MT2
