Correct Confusing Airport Names and Add Missing Cities

By sheer luck working in the airline industry for 40 years, I know that Eppley Field is OMA (Omaha) and The Cherry Capital is TVC (Traverse City).  For non-American players and those not totally current on their geography this naming of airports is very confusing.  Also, Lansing is the state capital of Michigan and does not appear as an airport.  I have flown in and out of LAN on many occasions and seriously think that all US state capitals should be included as viable airfields.

We could drive many people insane by referring to MSP as Wold-Chamberlain Field (or Lincoln International if you are a fan of the original movie "Airport").  Maybe someone could do a quick correction of the names and make sure that all state capitals are available.

You'll find me hanging around, patiently waiting for new infrastructure to be scheduled in ATL.

Cheers,

LAN is in the game, just not called "Lansing".
For some reason when you search for "LAN" it shows up 19th on the list if cities instead of first.  And again, it makes my point of calling it "Capital City" rather than by the name Lansing.  Very confusing for non-Americans or those not familiar with the geography of that part of the country.  But thanks for pointing it out.  Helps make my point.

I fully support your point, there are several other US airports without the city/region name in the game. Green Bay, Wisconsin is a really glaring one because it's called "Austin Straubel International" and gets confused with Austin, Texas. Yes, KGRB is named after a person named Austin Straubel but the airport's actual name is "Green Bay - Austin Straubel International Airport". It needs to be consistent with airports like "Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson".
