I like it, you can't just get carried away, SPEN SPEND SPEND, trying to make a huge airline, then getting all excited when you get your first Airbus or Boeing aircraft...

If I was you, I would stick with Embraer, Saab and Fokker aircraft

RonWelty

i would do that. I don“t know really how the game process, but if the game allows to create small airlines, inside the major, i will create a division of VIP flights, a division of airplanes that do national transportation, between small airports... i'm tired of big airplanes, i will try to win the other half of the market. I have to see, of course, how the clients will choose the airlines they prefer to flight, like, mine and yours airline do the (example) Palma Mallorca-Menorca, and how we know how to get and attract that costumers...it's gonna be fun and at the same time challenging to play this game.

Seattle

The first plane you run (I almost garuntee it) will be 125+ seater B or A plane, unless were earlier, when we have MD and D.

J.L.Rice

Name: Zoom Espana
ICAO: ESZ
IATA: ZE
Based: Barcelona, Alicante and Madrid

Target aircraft: Boeing 767

Target destinations: New York, Mexico City, Havana, Miami, Atlanta, Quito, Caracas, San Diego, Los Angeles

Might also operate from a few other locations such as Palma, Malaga, Valencia, Ibiza. But you get the idea. Also if i choose to go into the shorthaul market i would use 737 or something similar

Budjet

Have fun going trans-atlantic  ;)

It can be acheived, but it might take a while...

It depends on how easy the game turns out to be...

Seattle

uhhh.... you can pretty much get a transatlatic plane right off the bat. It may not be the newset or in best maintainance, but if we start with 5 million, than you'll be able to probably get it. :)

mine would be called interworld
my fleet would consist of

737-800 (domestic destinations)
757-200 (non-popular international)
767-400 (Asian destinations)
757-300 (major domestic destinations)
737-900ER (domestic destinations/Mexico)
767-200 (popular india/african destinations)
777-300ER (popular european destinations

i would probably only buy like a few of each aircraft depending on how succesful i am
i would fly out of IAH (to keep those cross country trips to a minimum) and have secondary hubs in SFO, BOS, and TPE (for asian destinations.) My slogan is, "Flying throughout the world"

BGoldtexas

Gasp! I was thinking about naming my airline 'Falcon Airlines'
Anyways my fleet would comprise of 737s,A300s for shorthaul flights and 747s,777s,767s and a pretty little Concorde for longhaul flights :P

yourefired

(Insert airline name) based in London (probably Heathrow)

Strategy is to be a single-hub longhaul airline (the likes of Virgin Atlantic)

Target fleet:
A330-200 (all business class, select secondary airports like EWR or HND)
A330-300 (North America and Africa)
A340-500 (Asia, Oceania and North/South America)
A340-600 (higher demand flights-anywhere)

Goal is to only fly to destinations at least 2500 miles away.
