I have left a thread for Airwaysim on the transport tycoon fourms

http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43478

Transport Tycoon is a still very popular transport sim from the 1980s. TT Forums is the main hang out for TT players. Im sure that most Transport Tycoon lovers will love Airwaysim too (ie like me). Hopefully this will increase the visabilty of Airwaysim and increase player numbers further. If you want the thread removing for any reason please tell me and ill remove it straight away

you're of course free to 'spread the word' and that's actually even desired... And also, OpenTTD rocks. I play it too sometimes :)

will transport tycoon work with Vista?

dunno, check your screen size and resolutions though, i have age of empires 2 and that doesn't work on my large glossy screen in every resolution so i have to use some bag of rubbish to use it. Same happening to my fs2004, which was a bit of a problem when fsx came out becuase that was awful because it need tons and tons of power, which is sorted now i've got a better computer.

use the openttd because ii believe looking at the site its free so no loss if it dont work and thats more likely than most to work rather than the old original.

a few new games now (bit off topic i know) have to have such great ram and graphics card etc and could use a better processor you need to upgrade and spend money on a new pc or new better parts for the pc. lol hark back to Flight Sim X for one and AOE3 for another. its a pain, lol conspiracy between the pc companies and the games manufactures. ;)

OMFG I totally just discussed this game with someone yesterday!!!!!  The original game came out in the mid 90s, though.  I remember having to change my IRQ setting on my Soundblaster back then to match it up with this game in my autoexec.bat and config.sys files.

I loved how cities grew based on what services your provide them.

They did come out with a new version of the same game a few years back.  I didnt buy it and am regretting it.
