One of my test airlines was flying old BACs from Portugal, and some of the flights were middle of the night on smaller routes. Let me see find the thread and see if it has anything useful...

Unfortunately I didn't take screenies of specific route profits. However I do mention flying a night(ish) flight to Cork, offering 100 seats on a ~70 seat route. And you can see from my scheduling screenie that I am flying many other night flights, flying 24 hours/day despite Lisbon's curfew. Most planes had routes that were something like ~2300-0300 outbound, 0400-0800 return. They all made money, most had at least some competition, most were in the 200-400 pax range. No matter where your HQ is, you should be trying to fly 24 hours/day.

When you look at fuel contracts, why do you multiply your weekly fuel bill by 2.15?

Be careful if you're flying long haul with tech stop, the number would be much smaller than 2.15
