Does scheduling an individual flight for each day of the week, rather than the same flight every day (even when times/destinations are identical) fit into the frequency advantage computation?  Why do so many bother if it doesnt?

It makes no difference. All it does is take space on the route table.

The others probally do that because of their maintanance setting
