Hi Guys

I couldn't see the answer to this on the manual. On days when my a/c is having B checks, does the schedule
automatically know to not operate/sell flight seats for flights listed for that day.

In other words, I won't get penalised for it right? Also, are flight automatically "on sale"
when you have created a route/sched an aircraft to it, as when looking over the airline
"top stats" I'm listed somewhere on all of them, except the loadfactor??? Of course it 's
currently 0% for everyone, just thought it odd that's all.

This game looks bloody amazing - well done everyone involved  ;D

B check overlaps the flight schedule on that day, so if you got a B check at sunday 00.00 and a flight at sunday dep 00.00, the B check overlaps it on the last week of the month. Automatically, so you can schedule them "over top of each others". And there's no cancellation or penalty or anything..

That's perhaps not the most clearest way of presenting it but the easiest in the long run I think.

and for the load factors to appear.. as the game just started, there is the 24hr 'freeze' on it so that people can join in and make their moves before the clock starts to tick. You will see the profit and loadfactors when the day changes (watch the game clock in left menu for that!). And if you have scheduled the flights, then they are being sold .. and you get the profit report on day change, which in this first turn's case as said is extended to 24 hrs instead of the normal 25 mins.

Thanks for clearing that up Sami.

I just wondered why the only list og stats my airline was not listed in was loadfactor, as I'm listed in various
places on all the other stats lists? I understand it is not full live yet for hours, and guess I was worried I might be have not
fully set myself up, can't be having that!  :'(

umm.. not sure if I understood.. what list / page etc?

Hiya, found the right part of the forum. Well close enough.  :P

QuoteOn days when my a/c is having B checks, does the schedule

Depending on what time you have your "B" Checks, the aircraft may or may not fly during that day. For example, if you have flt 001  xxx-xxx 0600-900 1000-1300. You place the "B" check in between the flight.. meaning the B check ends.. 0930. Then the aircraft will "fly" the return route.

Correct, you wont get penalized for having an aircraft go into maint.

~ The reason you and everyone else has zero LF % is because the first day is not over yet.

Each day in the game is 25min long. For everyone 25 mins of real time, a "game day" is done. However, the first "turn" or "day" is delayed to give everyone a fair chance at starting. The delayed day is 24 hrs.. in real time. So there wont be any stats till after the "day" has past.

Which will be in... 20.2 hrs. or.. 1pm CST, Saturday. After that, the game will run normally.

Hope this helps  ;D

Edit: bleh.. no fun sami  :P

Oh Thanks

I got that now. Also, for example, I have some flights scheduled to run on a Sunday. I then added my B check on for a Sunday. I know
that this is only once a month, but now I want to operate more flights on the other Sunday's, it won't let me.
It keeps saying that I have maintenance scheduled?

Cheers

B check doesn't affect the flight schedules, I mean it does not cause that warning. Check that it does not overlap the A check or other flights.

Jps

And remember, that if a flight arrives at 10:00, you can't start immediately, but have to wait at least the minimum turn-around time for that airplane (about 20-120 minutes depending on aircraft). You can see  the earliest departure time possible for the next flight from the Schedule-window by hovering the mouse over the blue line indicating the previous flight and there should be a text 'Can depart again'.
