Hey,

i got now 3 boeing 737-200adv. Now im having a deficit of 2 mil. So after a few months when i hit the zero line, again expesive c-checks are made and can start over again .
So ik could never invest in more airplanes.

What am i doing wrong??

If they are old planes (18+ years) then the C-Checks will always kill you at the time of year.

My best advice is go for younger planes (under 12 yrs is okay for starting up) even if it means paying a bit more for the lease.

How are you utilising your aircraft then Diar?

What length routes and how many sectors per day? And in which configuration?

I got only 3 routes opens with plenty demand on the routes and distance is around the max. range of the 737-200adv. So I got ATL-LAS, ATL-RNO and ATL-LAX

There is only one flight (away and back) a day for each of the three routes. And my seating is standar 120 seating in y-class

Doing shorter routes and getting 2-3 flights per day, per aircraft would be more profitable. Introducing some business class on the flights would increase revenue, even if only 5-10 seats (worth the price of reconfiguring).

Flying at the maximum range is generally not the best idea, try filling the demand on shorter routes first and get larger planes (150+ seats) to do the long routes once you have some more 737s.

Good luck

Jps

You should have one long flight going over night (eg. 1. leg 18-22, then 23-05) and then fill the rest of the schedule with shorter hops, so that you have at least 3 flights/day/aircraft.

Raibloq

I will try, but how can I settle more routes a day for the aircraft? (sorry for asking stupid questions, but iam new to this game)

Jps

Have you read the manual?
There is a big section about creating new routes and scheduling them to aircraft.

So, basically, you create a new flight for each route, so that your first flight departs for example at 6, and arrives at 10. Then you create the second route that departs for example at 11 (notice the 1 hour gap between the arrival and departure - you must leave time for turnaround also on the home airport) and arrives at 2pm. Then schdedule the rest of the flights so that the plane is in the air as much as possible.
