Sabaku Announces Restructuring

Sabaku, the first national flag carrier of Suriname has been forced to announce restructuring after just one year in operation. Perhaps we were overly ambitious in attempting to run an all-jet fleet, perhaps our twenty year old CRJ-100s aren't as cheap as they seem flying half empty. Regardless, our Russian CEO Nadia Zelenkova has recently "found" an additional $14 million in funding previously believed to have been spent (no questions please) in order to continue operations after nearly as much in losses in our last fiscal year. In the short term we have reluctantly cut our fleet in half, eliminated unprofitable routes, and considerably reduced staff. In the long term we will be researching the feasibility of turboprops to expand our international footprint once more. Hopefully the sackings of various nepotism hires will not lead to riots in the capital or civil unrest. Our legal team is attempting to locate a UK citizen and Texas resident named Noel for misleading us into the viability of this market without immense subsidies.
