A billboard campaign depicting a goose browsing upon a perfectly manicured golf green with the phrase "GO NUMBER TWO!" announces that Goosewings has regained its coveted title of Canada's other airline.

After a deeply distressing period of accidentally being Canada's actual airline, CEO Tim Timmerson credits Goosewings' return to second place to vigorous competition to its perplexing fixation on cities which remind him of Winnipeg, a protracted double fleet replacement which saw the airline retire the last of its Boeing equipment as Airbus order times extended past the timelines of the next planned manned moon landing, and an unfortunate promotional livery for the CGI remake of Andrew Loyd Weber's musical Cats which briefly featured on flights from Winnipeg to Newark until the offending aircraft was cornered and burned.

"To be honest, it's really better this way. The whole universe was just having this misaligned feeling while we were the actual airline of Canada. We really aren't meant for that, but you know... weird things just keep happening to our competitors. A crisis hits and bam. Suddenly, somehow all of these real airlines disappear and then it's just us. It's weird. Anyhow, I am looking forward to 2020 being a year that is free from any great upheavals."
