RE:-Unfair Treatment and Discriminatory Practices in Airline Alliance Admissions

As one of the managers of arguably, the most prominent- if not certainly the most prolific and consistent Alliance in the AWS world, I would like to reach out to the CEO of Argonia Airlines to explain the more likely reason why he has not been able to secure any position in any of the major Alliances - and please accept MR germanutz93, that there is: no "ignoring" of you, no lack of "integrity", and the system is most definitely not "broken" nor "biased" nor "both"  :)

Argonia Airlines has chosen to be based in "the most populous country in the world for airlines" - the USA.  Due to game rules no Alliance is allowed to admit two of it's airlines into any one base, so the USA becomes the most intense country to manage for an Alliance.

As far as our Alliance is concerned the USA can usually accept up to 5 airlines, but we carefully manage which airline is based where, by means of each of those airlines communicating with each-other to announce what their future intentions are and what bases they are looking to open well ahead of any expansion.  Usually our regular alliance partner airlines book their spot with us for a new up-coming GW before that GW even starts.  We often state right at the beginning that we are closed for further outside applications - and this is the reason - it is not because we want to exclude anyone else.   This also means, now and again any member airline may decide to close down business and if it is one of our USA airlines, often members of the existing USA team will want to take up 1 or 2 of their bases.  All of this means that most applications for the USA during any ongoing GW have one or more reasons which fall foul of a clearance to join our alliance. Also, a clear path may seem to exist but one of our current members has an eye on opening up and expanding into a base that a new applicant holds - that too can be a reason for declining. Lastly but just as importantly - our Alliance has a massive standing of regular repeat airlines with every GW. We are a very happy and united group of players and to keep it that way also requires careful consideration of which new members we can accept. We most definitely do have a policy to search for good quality new members, but we also keep the status quo by checking that any new prospective CEO has not been any cause of ongoing unpleasantness or aggressiveness towards any of our members - in any other GW. So you see - there is a lot of consideration we put into accepting any new application. When we have to decline an application I hope we always do so politely and usually suggest folk try again another day for one or other reason.

I would expect that all the other great and respectable Alliances that there are - certainly so in this GW, would also have similar considerations.

Saying all of this, your airline has bases which currently do not affect / clash with any of our own bases in the USA. I am going to reach out to the current airlines we have and the other Manager of our Alliance and see if there is a clearing we can make for you if you would like.  But please realise, quite opposite to these decisions being some biased actions, approval comes only from a democratic assessment within the members of our alliance  so it's not guaranteed.

Best regards
ELITE WORLDWIDE ALLIANCE
