Goooooood evening, Atlanta!
Another sizzling July day comes to a close, and what a sunset we have tonight—fiery skies above our favorite airport, ATL. I'm your host Chris, guiding you into the evening on Atlanta Sunset Radio with some very special news from the runways and, let's be honest, from the cocktail cart as well.

Breaking news just in:
Fun Express has been spotted causing mysterious black smoke over the terminals. The environmentalists are up in arms, but as it turns out, those new Caravelles rolling in for 1960 still need a good test run—before we trust them with more than the local pigeon population, let alone passengers. In fact, rumor has it our legendary chief inspector, Roger MacKenzie from the mayoral health authority, made a shocking discovery: the cask strength rum being served on Fun Express evening flights was, and I quote, "too strong for human consumption—better off used as jet fuel." Now that's what I call high-octane travel!

Meanwhile, at the Cricket Prime Airlines hangar:
Another day, another "unfortunate gear issue," as their CEO so charmingly puts it. Test flights had to be stopped—again—when the gear decided it would rather stay on vacation. Our hearts go out to Captain David Dougles, whose wailing could be heard all the way to our studio here, though word is he found a shoulder to cry on in the one and only Jasmine Joy, stewardess of the year 1956. Jasmine, if you're listening—Atlanta loves you! And let's just hope this time the engineers use more than duct tape and good intentions to get those planes flying straight.

But hey, enough news for now—time to unwind. Let's take you back with the king himself. Here's Elvis Presley and his summer classic "Don't Ask Me Why." This is Chris, and you're listening to Atlanta Sunset Radio—where the news is smokier than the runways and the tunes are always smooth. Stay tuned, Atlanta!
