North African Airways of Egypt can proudly welcome in the new era of the 1970's with an ALL JET FLEET !

We operate:

• 81x   de Havilland Comet 4C
• 184x   Boeing 727-100
• 21x   Douglas DC.8-62

In 1969 we managed to return the last of our leased turbo-prop Viscounts and in the last months of '69 we have just commenced inter-continental services with our brand new Douglas DC.8-62 aircraft with a passenger to range capability unsurpased by any other aircraft today.

We currently own the worlds second-largest Boeing 727-100 fleet, and there's exciting news ahead for us too - In the coming years our plans include to additionally introduce a brand new version of the Boeing 727 which we have spent the last year in negotiation with Boeing to ensure that when they launch this version, we have all our current Comet requirements available to us so that the Comets can then bow out of service by the mid-seventees.
