Fastest Route between Tokyo and Jakarta

JAKARTA - Anjani Air Service inaugurates the flight between Tokyo Haneda to Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma. Compared to its competitors, the flight offered by Anjani Air Service is the fastest within this route. The flight will be served with the brand new Tupolev Tu-114 capable of flying non-stop between Jakarta to Tokyo. The aircraft, the first of its kind operated by Anjani Air Service, has the tail number PK-TAA and nicknamed "Jatayu". Rumors are already spreading around in Indonesia that the Tu-114 was chosen because of pressure by the Indonesian Government. Anjani Air Service initially preferred to wait for the Convair 990, however suddenly decided to go forward with the Tu-114. It is also apparent that Indonesia, led by the increasing authoritarian President Soekarno, is getting friendlier with Communist Bloc countries. Anjani Air Service declined to comment on this issue.
