ISTANBUL* - While the days of the Great Purge is over, the terror of Joseph Stalin is still visible. Even six years after the end of World War II, various social classes and ethnic groups are accused of being anti-Soviet and deported to remote parts of the country as collective punishment. It is estimated that up until last year, nearly 3.3 million non-Russians were deported to Siberia and the Central Asian republics. Apart from these actions, the regional flag carrier of the Central Asian Soviet Socialist Republics is ordered by Joseph Stalin to rebrand. The airline board of management has been fully replaced after being accused of pan-Turkic nationalism.

According to sources from inside the airline, the airline logo is too similar to the Khorezm People's Soviet Republic, one of the original Soviet Republics in Central Asia. The Soviets in Moscow are concerned about the possible threat of pan-Turkic nationalism, as seen in the Basmachi movement during the early years of the USSR. The airline name will be rebranded in Russian to "Авиакомпания «тукюе»" instead of "тукюе – тюрки́ авиали́нии".

Another issue was the critical press release of the airline about the state of Soviet aviation. The former CEO issued warnings to Moscow about the lack of modern aircraft and the usage of western build aircraft by Tujue Airways and its sister companies in Moscow and Riga. According to inside sources, the Supreme Soviet in Moscow wasn't happy of the tone of the message and blamed to CEO for anti-Soviet propaganda.

It is said that all board members are currently in Siberia forced to work in the Gulags...
