New to the game

I am new to the game and just created my first airline. I have a few regional jets. I have been looking for destinations that have unmet demand at least equal to my available seats, however other than working to replace my leases with owned aircraft. I am a little unsure of if I am playing correctly, or even if I should be running additional flights to existing airports rather than look for new routes. Currently today I have 1 flight a day to each destination, I try to keep my planes as busy as possible between 0600 and 2200. Can anyone take a look at my airline and at least let me know if I am on the right track and possibly what they would use next.

Thanks for all your help!

While 0600-2200 seems to be the sweet spot, it is certainly possible to get high load factors when departing/arriving between 0500-2355.

Also, don't forget to take a look at east/westbound route pairs which are long enough to take advantage of different time zones. For example an eastbound flight departing between 2200/2355 and arriving at its destination after 0500, or vice versa for westbound route pairs.

Obviously you do need aircraft with the required range/endurance. At least 1500 NM for props and 2500 NM for jets, if I recall correctly.

I see you are playing modern times. I'm not in that game, so hust a general strategic advice :

While props are very safe in the modern era (i.e. excellent choice for a beginning), they lack punch to do big bucks. Single aisle are more risky, but also much more rewarding. If you can use them enough hours per day, on juicy routes, they can gush cash. An A320 that flies all day long (or even all night long, thanks do the trick given by my colleague), can be profitable from 80/90 passengers.

What can be intimidating is lines where demand is already covered. But you'll get your share. For example, a route with 840 demand, and 5 200 seaters flying. demand is already more than covered. Yet, if you open a line there, you can expect 140 passengers per flight - which is very juicy with a A320/B737/MD90/C919. You'll steal a few passengers from someone, but that's the game.

Don't overflow a route either, I did 12 50 seaters on MPL-ORY once, for 600 demand, and I got crushed. But 5 of them was working very well. But you can add a few flights here or there, and see how it works.

You can request a mentor who can access your airline and give you tips and advice.

PATIENCE is the most important part of this game no one learns early on.  Don't go expand-happy.
