Let's hear what you'd like to play next. (This would be a short 3-4 month scenario.)

Some alternate ideas:

4 engine challenge

Soviet / under utilised aircraft challenge

LH challenge but based in early 70s-90s

Small and VL aircraft challenge (medium and large blocked out)

Cartel challenge - small cargo planes flying "freight" to the US from South America

Cardinal

I'd like to see another geographic challenge. We've done Asia, South America, and Africa challenges before. I'd be open to another one of those again.

For something new, maybe a Caribbean Challenge? Must be based in any of the islands widely considered to be a Caribbean nation/territory. Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, etc. Can fly globally. It would necessarily have to be limited to a smaller number of players, as there's only so many Caribbean islands to go around. Could do a similar Oceania Challenge.

gazzz0x2z

Soviet world challenge, to mix Fisher's excellent ideas. Only countries that have been societ once (Fomer USSR, Eastern Europe, China, Cuba, Seychelles, North Korea, former Indochina), with only "communist" aircraft (Russia, Ukraine, China).

Mort

Regional challenge, but not in the usual era for these challenge games, something set in the 70s/80s instead

nabs

How about a Cargo challenge LH and SH both.

Meddix

Regional challenge, era around the 80's, preferable within certain area (US or Europe) to make it not too easy

MikeS

ULCC Challenge:

Can only operate ONE FLEET TYPE !
Can only use HD seating - in ALL classes !

Mike

Cornishman

SMALL and MEDIUM aircraft ONLY
* all types
* 1980s to 2020 on fast time (like Speed World)
* No geographical base limits
* No Out of Base aircraft limits

turn on pax cbd and lets see how it works!

I really enjoy the regional aspect of the game so I voted for that, but I have a few ideas:

- propellor aircraft only
- Small/Medium aircraft only
- Ideas to limit airline growth and route spamming, and just generally making it harder to turn a profit
   - Secondary airports only
   - Severe slot restrictions
   - More severe costs (fuel, staff, maintenance, base costs, slots, etc...)
   - Less aircraft production slots (or slower growing)

I chose something else.  How calling one the Wide-Body or Jumbo Jet Game.  Start in 1965 since the 747, DC-10, and L-1011 went on sale in the mid-to-late 60s and went into service in 1970-1972

Chris Spiegel

I'd like a regional challenge with no very large planes available at all and slot multiplier at least 2x to cope with lots of expected medium and small planes.

I would like to change my vote to this

Anyhow whatever the world does it could be great if it came with no OOB and lots of planes/slots. Keep the game interesting :)

Given that regional challenge seems to be winning my request would be to start the world later - 2015 seems like a sweet spot so that there are a wider range of aircraft available.

I second this. Moderns planes give far more choices.

I think a nice idea that would give new/inexperienced players a good feel for the game, while also testing experienced players, would be to only be allowed one pair per route (pax or cargo). This could be coupled with restrictions on opening new bases, thus forcing players to really try all destinations

Toblerone

I agree. Time for that!

i would say a world were the pax leves and cargo levs were compleetly random ie we dont know that LHR will be the biggest i might be some other major city it migh be some minor city it might be so little airport in affrica we normaly ignore
or it might be LAX who knows

Jetonski

How about a game with difficulty settings 'hard'? Something with extreme fuel price variations and/or lots of unforeseen situations? Something full of challenges where you have to respond to altering situations and be flexible in strategy to survive... That would really be something different, and ideal for a short duration game  :)
