Where are the CV-540/580 turboprop conversions, and also the CV-640F?

Adding the freighter conversion to the Convair line would be a great addition to the early game.

Not sure where to find performance specs on the CV-540/580 Turboprop upgrades, though.

Problem with all of the turboprop models is the speed increase over the initial piston models.

They would have to be in a seperate fleet ingame, and therefore a conversion wouldn't make sense.

I feel a compromise there could be made though. Instead of a speed boost, just give them a realistic lower fuel burn for flying slower and give them the improved noise certification and you're set.

That could work, sure some purists will find cause to complain though

Although that's true. The game already does this. The CV240, CV340 and CV440 all had different optimal speeds as they kept getting faster with later additions. But AWS treats them all the same anyways. That goes for most prop families as companies kept trying to one up eachother before the Jet Age.

On a side note, an awesome feature would be allowing us to use a range of speeds realistic to the aircraft. We could slow certain flights down to save on fuel or speed them up to squeeze in another flight. But it could also help in slot locked airports. Or trying to get a plane to land or take off when slots are available. It could help with transitions as well when planes don't fly the same speed or turn times are 5 minutes off.

It's a feature that could also be ignored if people didn't want to complicate things and just use the standard speed.

This could also be a way to bake in the different speeds of different aircraft in the same family. They would have their most optimal speed but all AC speeds could be possible maybe. May not work with a family like the Connie's as the L079 was much slower and probably couldn't even hit the optimal speeds of later models.
