Minimum lease length

I understand the rationale behind the max lease length, if you want your planes to come back at a certain time, but why isn't there a minimum length option?

I would like the ability to purchase aircraft and issue a minimum lease time to ensure a positive return on that aircraft. That should also be an easy enough feature to change - add a min/max length scroll menu next to the lease duration.

even better, how about an auction system. A person could put an aircraft for sale, and people could put bids on it; price, length of lease, etc. At the deadline the seller accepts one of the offers.

But a minimum leasing time is something that Sami would be able to apply already today!

That's an interesting idea but it would require more time online for each aircraft purchase. I think auctions could work well for aircraft sales, not sure about leases - but, maybe there's a mechanism.

I like the simplicity of just requiring a minimum lease length. The market will then be not only determined on price, but lease terms. It would be especially great if you could incorporate min/max lease length into the used market page next to the orange and blue buttons.

I can lease this aircraft for up to 4 years, or I can lease this other aircraft at the same price for a minimum of 12 years, but obviously at a lower monthly rate.

I would really love to see this function incorporated into the game. It would make being an aircraft lessor much more fun and competitive.

I just wanted to circle back to this because I find it crazy that the only term that can be presented is a maximum lease length. I am offering planes for lease only in one game world, and while they are being taken, they're only being leased for 1.5-2.5 years. That's... ok... but I would much rather them be leased for 8-15 years. I really wish there were an option to say that an aircraft is available for lease but you must lease for x years as determined by the owner.

Hell, even when you're ordering new planes from the manufacturer there is a minimum lease length of 5 years, can we at least get that, if not the ability to issue a min lease length up to the max allowable of 15 years?
