attract new players midgame to mega slot blocked airports

We all know LHR,HND,LAX,JFK etc get slot blocked very quickly, and it puts off new players joining these hubs. Every so often there is an infra increase so 1000+ slots to buy, ideal time to start a new airline at the hub. But for people not in the game there is zero visibility of when these slots drops will occur. If people knew in a real world week or month that LHR would have a slot drop, they'd be more likely to join the GW.

Suggestion - publicise Jan 1st the slot drops/infra projects planned for that year at the major hubs in that gameworld. So on discord/forums etc have a page

ok... so i know there is open slots in lhr on tuesday. i am joining the gameworld on tuesday, there is a major competitor at LHR, but i am very determined! i race to the airport, order 3 planes and grab my 20 slots a day! by the time i can order more planes the slots are getting low, by the time i have a 7day schedule setup, the slots are back to 0. now i have a 7-plane-airline at LHR! yippie!

i am currently in a GW, after not even 3 years LHR was out of slots. after a big airline there went BK, i got slots there easily (even though it hurt my profits a lot by implementing two new planes for the route) and luckily i did, because slots soon were sold out again.

AoF is an excellent example. Top slotted LAX airport with 1600 AC+ already based there has at least 30+ slots even at golden hours.

Other top airports have even more. LHR after 2 recent major BKs are 50% free.

maybe an idea would be, that instead of slot limitations, the prices just rise (not like now, but REALLY) - and smaller airlines get lower prices than bigger ones.
