I have created an airwaysim wiki page

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airwaysim

the page has links internally from wiki pages such as Transport sims, transport tycoon, airline games etc

It's already tagged for speedy deletion. Wikipedia does not like articles like that.

EDIT: However, I went ahead with spelling corrections and some minor copy editing. I also removed some very unencyclopaedic "POV" content that Wikipedia seems to hate.

Uh, it says it has been deleted.

Good idea though.

what a joke, all the pc games have a page ie Sim  City etc, why can't this???? i'll try to get onto the moderaters at wiki

They seem to be quite picky about that. I remember the user 'Seattle' tried to make a wiki page in the past too which got deleted too.

But probably it should be noted that the article is not about a website alone. Also it seems that I cannot see the content of the page once it was deleted?

Anyways, probably if an article to Wiki is wanted it should be quite long and with good content.

This is what it says on the deleted page:

22:20, 2 May 2009 Mentifisto (talk | contribs) deleted "Airwaysim" ‎ (A7: Article about a web site, blog, web forum, webcomic, podcast, browser game, or similar web content, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject)

I'm guessing sim city isn't actually just a web site. I think since it is apart of "the Sims" group, it was able to have a page about it. Where as Airway Sim is just a web game. (Awesome by the way)

The important part is, "indicate the importance or significance of the subject". If one want to write an wikipedia article about anything, then they should have write it with support from reliable third party sources (Reliable: e.g. from some actual game news site and so on instead of random blogs or such; third party: reports that are actually written by outsiders or individuals that are not affiliated with the one related to or making the subject), and those sources should have in depth coverage about the subject to indicate the subject is notable. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability for detail.

You did realize that the last post is from 8 years ago?

Ah right. Well, would still be useful if anyone still want to make a page on the wikipedia
