Prop Vs. Jet

Sorry if this has been asked prior... Do the pax prefer a jet to prop plane? I am considering ording a few DH8's and trying to figure if that will hurt me.

Yes, but the preference isn't as much as it should be.  There is a small prefernce to jets as well as a small preference towards the faster flight.  But chances are you'll be just fine operating a prop on the route, particularly since you can charge a lower fare (which affects passengers quite a bit) offset by the significantly lower fuel costs.
