747-200 Range Inaccuracies?

Hi.  I was wondering if anyone had noted the technical error of the 747-200 range.  There is no option for a variant which provides the actual range of the aircraft.  In the game, the longest ranged variant is listed at 4470 NM.  Multiple websites, including Boeing's, lists the 747-200 at around 6800-6900 NM (7900 sm) for the range.

Thanks.

Hmmm... your talking about the 747-200 Combi or what Boeing officially calls the 747-200C (Combi).  It has a range of around 6600nm miles w/ typical payload. Dont confuse it with the 747-200 Convertible which Boeing calls the 747-200M.

For that.. I have sent the data to Sami..

Also, to clear things up. There is no "747-200" or "747-200A". As far as Boeings concerned, the 747-200 is called the 747-200B. Which confuses the avg person.

Are there some news on this?

I think it's one of the most important things to improve because the B747-200 would be a very very more useful aircraft in Jet Age games if it can fly further than DC-10-30 (like in the real world).

At the moment there are nearly no advantages of the B742 compared to DC-10.

Ranges of all models on Boeing are from the actual graphs from the manufacturer, but there can be of course errors. A bug report would good if there really is an error. ( http://www.boeing.com/commercial/airports/acaps/7471sec3.pdf )
