Starting The Games Over Again?

What do you guys think?

I think we should. I don't think it was fair that the game was only "paused" for 4 hours. I was at school when the game was restarted and couldn't do much because I had assignments to finish in Computer App. class. I got home and the game was started.

My opinion is that the games should be stopped and have a date, let's say Friday, to restart the games with a 24 hour pause to be fair. This way, everyone will know when the game starts. NO FURTHER REFUND should be given.

I really don't think that is necessary. We've already had one re-start and while I appreciate some people (including myself) may not have been around when the game re-started, I don't think anyone is massively disadvantaged. I seriously doubt the time and type of the very first aircraft acquired in the first few game days will alter the outcome of the game.

I for one certainly dont wish to start this game for a third time.

Besides, Sami said that a duplicate of this game world will likely start later this week, so those who want to restart can using their 5 free credits with the 6 refunded if they quit this game. The option is there, with out inconveniencing everyone in this game all over again.

I was very annoyed, to say the least, when I returned home from work at 2100.  My airlines were doing extremely well in both previous games and I could not believe that the amount of time I had spent on the computer over the last few days had been wasted.  I was in the top 6 when I left in one game.

But, its not a disaster, despite the less than appealing aircraft I have compared with before.

After taking the last couple of hours to calm down (I was quite surprised how much a game could affect me) it made me realise that it doesn't matter and if you're good enough at the game, it'll be a minor hurdle for the first day or so.  I'd much prefer it this way, rather than other players having extra aircraft, which would make any competition too strong.

I agree, we should, I got off at midnight and everything was cool with my airline. And I get on at 2 the next day after school, and my airline is gone and its like 2 weeks into the new game...... I vote yes for a restart with a full 24 wait period.

You guys are seriously way overreacting. I started Game #3 a whole two game years later than everyone else, but I still managed to finish 5th airline overall in value. I could've pushed for a higher place, but I started getting bored halfway through. Starting a few game days later isn't going to kill you if you know what you're doing.

I thought the community Airwaysim was made up of better people than this, but it seems we have our own share of whiners.
