They may be, in fact are, a poor version of this wonderful game but there are little details that we don't have yet.
Meals. What they do do isn't done very well but I hope a simple approach as follows would fit nicely into Airwaysim.
Stewards(esses) traditional serve what's suited to the route. From a Cinema Style sweety type snack through to full dining experience on longer, premium, routes.
It costs space and money to provide it, but it is a useful income, and part of an airlines * rating.

Films similarly on flights of over 3 hours.

So how could we do it. Lets say 5 standards of meal service.
1 - a tray of confectionary, chocolates and tobacco products etc, it doesn't really matter exactly what, but that's level 1, available on all flights over 40 mins.
2 - a better range with sandwiches and some hot snacks available on all flights over 2 hours.
3 - as above but with full meals on flights of over 4 hours.
4. as above but with even better meals and possibly cold snacks soon after take-off with the meal orders taken and served a bit later into the flight meals on flights of over 8 hours.
5. a gourmet version of 4 for the better class of traveller.
Depending on the Airwaysim valuation of the quality of the airline the number of passengers taking up these offers can vary from 20 to 100 pc.
Each of these would require some dedicated space on the aircraft, plus some weight, and possibly staff. Details really.
