One route not being flown?

Another problem :-(

I have an aircraft that is doing long haul and on one day it does a quick trip to HESH to fill the schedule.

But although it seems to be doing the other trips since it arrived (a few weeks ago) it seems to have never flown to HESH???

Any ideas why?

Slots are OK. Infrastructure level is fine. I a at a loss...

Thanks again.

I have attached two pics that show the problem, I hope.

Tell me its not because the runway required at MTOW is 29m longer than the one at HESH!!!

Surely it can just adjust max weight....like it does for pax to get distances???

gazzz0x2z

sorry if stating the obvious, but did you purchase the slots?

Tha_Ape

Did you actually buy the slots?
No B-check overlaying?

If the answer is "no" to both questions, you might want to investigate the "manage routes" section, "delays and cancellation". Or directly on the route's info page (or all 7 pages if it's 7-day scheduling).

johnlattanzio

Yeah slots OK.
No delays. Just never flown!

I discovered the runway is 29m (!) shorter than required for MTOW. Could that be it???

Tha_Ape

Nope. That would just reduce your MTOW and thus either your fuel capacity or pax capacity.

Check delays and cancellations.

johnlattanzio

Thanks. That is what I thought (re MTOW).

No delays...."no data" as it has not flown at all!   (It is the middle flight...the other two are doing OK...)

As The Ape said, A6-LAB most probably had the B-check at the time of the flight. So depending all circumstances, can take up to 4 weeks for the first
weekly result to show up. Just a bit more patience.

Cheers!

johnlattanzio

Ah yes!

It had a B check on the 10th Dec. Which was a Tuesday! Since it only flies that route on Tues that makes 2 weeks without data.

Dunno why older data was not there but that is probably the problem!

THANKS everyone!

Tha_Ape

Right. As Mike said, a statistic needs 2 consecutive weeks with data to build a comparison. Thus:
Week 1: B-check - no data
Week 2: flown - insufficient data
Week 3: cancelled (but you can't check it anymore) - no data
Week 4: flown - insufficient data
Week 5: flown - ok data - stat shows up.

This is just a possibility, not necessarily the reality, but it gives you the idea.

Thanks again!

I am getting back into this after a break of a few years and appreciate the kindness and helpfulness...and rapid replies...from the users!
