What exactly is Company Score?

I tried searching around the forums on this topic, but couldn't find any. So what exactly is Company Score and how is it calculated?

It is obvious that the higher the score is, the better the airline is, generally. But I just want to know what goes into the calculation, so I can improve my airline. I see airlines above me in scores with lower (and in some cases, much lower) profit margin and revenue. How did they get ahead of me?  :'(

Does average aircraft fleet age have a big impact on score? I have a rather high number at 14.7 years, ranked 135/196 in BW2. How about passenger load facter? I have a 70% on average now (dropped in rank to 163/196), but only because I opened 15+ new long-haul routes recently and as always... they average 20-30% for now. All my other routes are above 90%, with exceptions to a few highly competitive routes I keep just to annoy my competitors.

My pre-tax profit is ranked #6, revenue #13, and profit margin is #11. I assume these numbers would give me a higher score and rank than what I have now (32/196).

Does anybody know how I can improve my company score?

I think the stat: Fuel burn per passenger should at some point be updated to be per mile.

Fuel burn per mile is fixed based on aircraft type
Fuel burn per passenger tells how efficiently you are using your aircraft

Yes and no. A badly run regional airline with props will always have a lower fuel burn per pax than an amazingly run LH airline.
It is a good measurement when comparing apples with apples, but not as an absolute measurement. And the classification puts all airlines together no matter what kind of ops they have.

When you disregard distance, than what you are really measuring which airline has, on average, the shortest routes.
