After using the option to declare bankruptcy in Game World 3, AirwaySim will now not complete loading with internet explorer as before. I can use  AirwaySim by connecting with Microsoft Edge with no problem. Is there a solution to this error with internet explorer.

Similar perhaps but as of yesterday I cannot use AWS on my ipad using safari, which has been my primary method of checking the game.

I can load into the game world but the dashboard is nothing but a constant loading icon that never loads the pages, going to messages I can't open any to read them and on pages with dropdowns like routes or aircraft I can't do anything.
It might be popup related as if I go to an aircraft I can't change the registration, view payload range tables or anything, just nothing happens.

Forums work fine though,  as does every other site I regularly visit. Just AWS for some reason. I did try clearing cache and history, doing a restart too but to no avail.

No issues that I am aware of. Any errors or such?

No errors come up, the pages just never load, and links seem to just not work. Not sure what happened in the space of a few days. My ipad is on ios9 as it's too old to update to the newer one but that shouldn't make an issue.

The AirwaySim sim page says loading, but will permanently stay in that condition using internet explorer. Will load ok using Microsoft Edge.

I still cannot see any issues over here with IE / Win10. Tested several times and several pages.

had a lot of issues on my windows phone the previous days, but it seems to have come back to normal. My opera browser on WIN10 operated flawlessly in the same time.

I'm getting the same, suddenly working again on my ipad. Not sure what was going on.

We all have loyalty to certain operating systems, but frankly there is 0 reason in 2018 to still be using Internet Explorer for anything on any system.

This should be valid across the spectrum, but unfortunately one can still find several webpages (which are actually important) still optimized for IE instead of Chrome/Mozilla/Safari, etc.
An antiquated website that I have to use can only be displayed correctly on IE and some of my livelihood depends on it.

99% of our (corporate) customers are on IE. So we develop our own software for IE. Many individuals use IE as well.

Hell, I tend to have my main game on Opera, then secondary games on Firefox...and IE. So that I can have several games open at once. I loathe Chrome.

IE will be of course supported still  (not the earlier versions though).

(But I cannot test every change on every browser.  Major layout updates are of course extensively checked.)

Agreed on IE still being strong in the marketplace.  It's probably still #2 in the market share on desktop.

I didn't log in when people were experiencing problems with IE, but it appears to working properly now.

Until a couple of years ago, it was  still the most used one despite its horrible state. But usage has hemorrhaged away and is now just below 3% of world usage. Within a couple of years, it will be obsolete. At this point, IE will have to be phased out and solutions found for the remaining users. Probably by moving to Edge.

Despite the rap Microsoft gets, Edge is decent. That one of the biggest companies in the world, who have the most used operating system in the world comes up with a browser that is only decent, or "not bad" to use on their operating system is kinda odd.

Anyway, technically speaking if you are still using solutions for business on IE, you'll want to think about addressing that before it becomes unsupported and obsolete. And for personal use, it is objectively just about the worst browser out there, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari etc etc. All of those will be a significant upgrade. To say "I hate google/chrome" is a fair comment. To use that as the reason for staying with IE, isn't.

I would just say don't hold your breath, because you may be holding it for a decade, since there is nothing that quite matches simplicity of using something like this in VBA:

Set IE = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")

We have a lot of *new* equipment at work that use web GUIs that require sigh ActiveX controls. The sales people all claim that their products are "browser agnostic" but the production version is still married to ActiveX.
