Hi all,
I've been trying to find on different topics about the doubts and questions that I have regarding this game, but haven't been able to find a single one. Hopefully any of you might know the answer.

-If I schedule more than one flight per day to a destination wihtout reaching the demand, would it be more or less beneficial than scheduling only one flight?

-Scheduling a night flight, does it affect the number of pax rather than scheduling during the day?

-How is it possible that an outbound flight is always full and the inbound is almost empty considering the demand is much higher for both legs?

-I think the cargo part is still kind of 'beta' so I'm not going to ask too much but it is SO difficult to make it work properly. It has nothing to do the estimated figures compared to the actual ones once you schedule a flight.
But is there any difference if I block the cargo or just leave it working?

-Does anybody have any trick or tip or anything to know if it is not necessary to low the prices since the pax will not increase? I have several destinations where i don't reach the demand at all but my flights aren't full (and there is no competitor), and although I low the prices, it doesn't get any better.

Thank you very much for your time. I don't remember any other question although for sure I have many more that I forgot.  :)

Hi all,
I've been trying to find on different topics about the doubts and questions that I have regarding this game, but haven't been able to find a single one. Hopefully any of you might know the answer.

-If I schedule more than one flight per day to a destination wihtout reaching the demand, would it be more or less beneficial than scheduling only one flight?
Regularity / weekly and daily frequency
The flight regularity or frequency has a relevance on weekly and daily levels. For weekly frequency the "minimum service level" depends on the route type. Domestic and shorthaul sectors should be served at least 7 times a week, while longhaul routes may be served with a bit less frequency.
The daily flight frequency was partly covered above in the flight times chapter. Passengers appreciate choices so they like to have many different departure times to choose from for their flight, and it is advisable to offer services on various times of day if the passenger demand makes this economical. However when exceeding the maximum beneficial daily frequency you will receive no advantage in adding more flights into a single day. In practice if you have a route with estimated demand of less than 50 daily passengers it is advisable to fly it only 1-3 times a day, and for a route with 250 passengers no more than 5-7 times daily. For busier routes the frequency "allowed" raises accordingly.

-Scheduling a night flight, does it affect the number of pax rather than scheduling during the day?
The departure and arrival times (time of day) affect heavily on the route sales. Most passengers desire to depart during day instead of the middle of the night, and there are also the business traveler's peak hours during early morning and afternoon/evening hours. Generally all departures between 05.00/06.00 - 23.00/23.30 are fine, and the flight should also land between the same hours (or a bit later in the evening). Longhaul passengers are little less picky on the operation hours than people flying short distances. Long flights through the night are also acceptable, as long as the passengers are not made to walk around the airport at 03am...

-How is it possible that an outbound flight is always full and the inbound is almost empty considering the demand is much higher for both legs?
This can be many things, maybe it has unfavourable timing, same departure time as a competitor with higher route image, etc.

-I think the cargo part is still kind of 'beta' so I'm not going to ask too much but it is SO difficult to make it work properly. It has nothing to do the estimated figures compared to the actual ones once you schedule a flight.
But is there any difference if I block the cargo or just leave it working?

Cargo has just been implemented. I am not sure what you mean, but I am assuming that you are talking about the aircraft cargo capacity? If so this has to do with the volume/density relation. If memory serves me right light, standard and heavy cargo have densities of 100, 250 and 500 kg/m3 respective. So a cargo hold that can handle for example 500kg or 2m3 can handle:
- 200kg of light cargo (volume limited, as there is still capacity for 300kg of cargo, but no room)
- a full load of standard cargo (not limited)
- 1m3 of heavy cargo (payload limited, as there is still capacity for 1m3 of cargo, but no payload margin)

-Does anybody have any trick or tip or anything to know if it is not necessary to low the prices since the pax will not increase? I have several destinations where i don't reach the demand at all but my flights aren't full (and there is no competitor), and although I low the prices, it doesn't get any better.

Probably wait until your route image goes up, though I would need more information. Stopovers, time, timing all heavily influence LFs.

Thank you very much for your time. I don't remember any other question although for sure I have many more that I forgot.  :)

The first two answers were literally in the manual: https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Manual
If you are new it would be really worth it to read through :)
Also there are some guys with excellent tutorials:

Good luck and cheers,
