Base Airport Restrictions

So i just have a quick question about base restrictions, mainly concerning bases in the Soviet Union.

What happens to your bases in Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia when they become free countries/part of the EU when you are based in Russia?

Never even thought about it since i have never started so early before, so i am just curious to know what is going to happen if i ever were to start an airline in the SU....

Pretty sure when those countries become independent you are given a warning that your base will be close in X days. Same happens if a nation is part of an empire that then becomes independent (all the African and Asian nations we're getting in GW2 that are/will do that).
