How do planes come to be on the used market. Are they planes that airlines lease, and when the lease terminates, they go to the used market.

Planes off lease go back to their owners. If it's a player, they can do what they want with it. For brokers it goes back into the pile of planes to be released to the market at random.

They can also be:
- Planes that are made before the gameworld start
- Planes belong to airlines that have been bankrupted
- Players-owned frames put onto UM by players
