aircraft too small with runway limit.

so I am trying to make a flight between ISG and CTS within Japan, which are 1400nm apart and estimated to have 160 demand/day. but ISG's runway is only 1500m long which are not suitable for operation of larger aircraft like 737, while the demand and range also mean that whenever I put a prop or a regional jet in, it would tell me the aircraft is too small. What aircraft would be good for this route?

Well someone is doing that route with a 737-900 in GW2 so it can be done.  Maybe won't be able to do it with full capacity, but since the 737 won't need full tanks of fuel to go 1400nm it won't be at MTOW and won't need the full runway length as it shows on the aircraft information.  Did you try creating a route for 737? it should tell you if its restricted or cant fly it.  Other options may be the F100 or 717, both need less runway than 737, and are 100+ seat.

If you are based in one of those airports, you can always toy with the open line screen. Anyways, a C919 should not be far from the full 150 pax. It requires 1840m, but for 2360NM of range. At 1400NM, it should require less.

Alternative is 2 daily regional jet flights. 1400NM is little too much for turboprops, but, for a domestic flight, CRJ700s or A175 should just be perfect, here.
