What is a C check under maintenance?

Hello I've gone through the manual and searched google and I'm new to playing. I have about 12 aircraft and one recently went out of commission for C check but I just don't know what it is. It's out of commission for a really long time so I thought that was significant.

Ah, I see now that C check lasts 14 days and D check last 60 days.

General maintenance and inspections required on flying A/C.  You can turn them off of automatic under settings, but may get fined for flying unchecked planes.
