Range and seating capacity issue

Hello everyone,

It is my first post but I tried to find the info somewhere but did not manage to find the answer to a problem I have.

I have an Embraer ERJ-145LR with a nominal range of 1660 NM, with a typical 50 seat in Y class, flying on a route that is 1308 NM long. The problem is that the sales of tickets are restricted to 35.

It does not seem to be a runway issue either since both airports are large.

Can someone explain what's going on?

Nevermind, it just increased to 40. I think it's because it was originally assigned to another plane with restricted range, and now things are slowly going back to normal (50 seats).
