Stored aircraft drive up fleet age?

Do my aging aircraft that are stored drive the average age of my fleet up or are they not taken into consideration?  I am trying to drive my numbers down but it seems to be an uphill battle.  Any input is appreciated.  Thanks!

How about aircraft for sale? I Have a fleet of old Fokkers for sale in a world....

no :) those are not considered in use iirc.

The best way to prove CarlBagot is right is to check, in your company menu, "aircraft fleet", for fleets without any aircraft in operation, there is no age. Ergo age is counted only for aircraft in operation.

Hi Dennis, as per the screenshot below the single stored RJ100 is driving up the average fleet age by 0.5 years and this is also reflected in the statistics page. Funny you bought it up as I was thinking the same thing myself.
