Edit route and slots

Hi,

short question I could not find an answer to after searching the forums.

If I edit an existing route that is flown every day only to be flown on Monday to split up for 7-day scheduling will I keep the slots from Tuesday to Sunday or will they be released back to the pool?

Is it more practical to close the route and keep the slots and then create a new route from scratch? Also, if I serve a destination only once every day will my route image be gone instantly after closing this only daily route?

During edit, any excess slots are always released back...

To turn a everyday schedule into a 7 day schedule by retaining slots

1. remove route from plan schedule
2. Follow these tabs: Routes - Manage Routes - Notification View - Select Route - Close Checked Routes & Keep Slots
3. Reschedule as daily routes

PS only works for the same departure time otherwise you have to 'move' the slots......which is another lesson

However if you only want to fly one day e.g. Monday, then the other 6 day slots will eventually go back to the slot pool if not used....you will get warnings from the system if the slots remain unused
