One of the four main long game scenarios, Game World #1, is ending soon and before a replacement scenario for it is launched we're happy to answer to user's requests for a shorter game scenario.
The
South America and Africa theme scenario will launch next Friday, 24th October 2014 at approximately 17.00 UTC (1pm @ NYC, 6pm @ London, 2am @ Tokyo).
This is a special rules game world where each player will start an airline based in either Africa or South America but they can fly globally to any destination they desire. So you can for example build a short-haul commuter airline in Brazil or fly longhaul from Africa to Europe/Asia. The overall passenger demand will be tuned to support short and medium-haul flying inside the two "main" continents.
The scenario will be set in the present era, and will feature all aircraft models (including "prototypes"), normal economic difficulty settings as well as all other regular game world features such as world events and alliances (from day 1 already).
This will be a shorter game scenario with overall duration of approximately 2.5 months.
The long game to replace Game World #1 will commence later (to space the starts of the main scenarios more).
