Air France pilot strike
« on: September 28, 2014, 12:38:42 PM »
Hi,

I have a friend who would fly on Air France from CDG on last Saturday. Thanks to the strike, his flight was cancelled and moved to today. But he just informed me that the Sunday flight is canceled, too. His is then moved to Monday, and there's no guarantee the Monday flight won't be cancelled

If anyone's familiar with the situation, could you please advise if he should wait or take a train to Frankfurt, and fly from there with a new purchase ticket. There's a direct flight from FRA departing tomorrow (train + new ticket should be around 600-700 EURO)

Thanks in advance

From what I heard the situation at Air France isn't great and further disruptions are expected as the pilots continue to strike. Depends if they want to risk being delayed again or are willing to pay for a more reliable airline.

He bought a ticket from Qatar Airways for 700 USD to fly out this afternoon. Case closed, thanks for your time
