Hello, I was wondering why do the worlds have to be reset why can't they last indefinite instead of months at a time then reset?

Kadachiman

Because no-one knows what planes will be available in the future, we know what is currently planned and due for release which is why the worlds go to today +10 years approx

Because the games are faster than real time. One day is 20-40 minutes, so it would be impossible to run them forever..

And also, some worlds like the beginner scenario are short since it's been decided so (to make them easier etc).

Kadachiman

Damn...much better response than mine :-(

Actually time is continuous, so it wouldn't be impossible to run them forever :)  However, I'd imagine that gameworlds would be extremely boring in the year 3000 with no new aircraft and no slots.

And how long does it take to get to year 3000? 23 years

Yep. I left Game World #1 a month ago due to boredom. That being said; I'm looking forward to the new upcoming game scenario.

(3000-1950)*365*35/60/24/30/12 = 25.87 years  ;D

It should be divided by 365, not by 30/12

And I was counting from 2020, not 1950  :)
