basic competition

I hate all those artificial restriction rules... like the magic carpet crap... it's ok to add "basic" competition on every route if we want to prevent that some guys are making tons of money from routes without competition... but not with this kind of unlogic solutions we currently have

so, my solution -> add competition to every route without competition... somehow... this would equalize the whole thing and solve a lot of problems at once

Why does every route need to have competition? I can think of many, many examples where that is not the case...
