Sami,

I happen to work for an airline, and must admit your staffing levels would make even the most hard-core unionist proud! Some of the levels are quite fine, but to my mind you need to seriously revise the numbers downward for the following groups:

Middle Level Management (reduce by 20%)
Corporate Communications (reduce by 30%)
Customer Service (reduce by 50%)
Route Strategies Division - also called Network Planning (reduce by 75%)
Flight Operations Division (reduce by 80%)

This will bring numbers more in-line with real world levels, albeit still just a tad bloated ;)

Any staff groups missing, or too few staff in some other groups..?

As the whole idea of the staffing is to provide a certain lump sum of staff expenses (just divided into smaller groups). As I do not wish to reduce the overall staff number as that again makes the game easier ...

Plus I guess this also depends greatly on the type of organization the airline operates. But at the moment one really cannot affect that...

I don't know if this been suggested or already in the current version but maybe hiring more than default level could confer a bonus to LF, reduce delays or improve image. It'll cost more for the bonus but there would be some gain, so each airline could fine tune their staff level to what they're comfortable with.

If the idea is that staff should cost a certain amount, have no problem with that - just raise the minimum suggested wages. For what it's worth, I'm already paying mine a bit more than suggested, with the result that moral is running at 100%.
