7-spread schedules and slot buying

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me with this one:

Let´s say I have a schedule from A to B - daily flight assigned to aircraft YYYY.

I then want to implement this route into a 7-day turnover schedule, so same departure times, but each day a different plane.

It seems that for this to work, I have to close the first route and buy once more the very same slots, but this time when creating the route, I only check the box for Monday, and then "Create another route like this for the following day" until I have all seven days covered.

If there is a smarter way of doing this, I would love to hear about it.

This is correct, there is no other way of doing it. Close the route whilst selecting to keep the slots and reopen day by day.

Just to clarify, if your query is specifically about "buying" the same slots - as Labert says, you do not have to surrender the original slots so you won't have to pay for them again, so long as you use them again within the time limit.

A tip that may save you a little time.  Before you close the original route, click the "Create another route like this" button - being sure to open it in a new window.  Then, after you close the original, you will already have the info you need.  This will also preserve any specific changes you have made to the route such as custom pricing, capacity limit etc.

This is the only way to use more then 1 aircraft for a single flight number?
