I am operating to a couple of airports ,ad the load factors ot one of the airports is at only about 50% of capacity on my aircraft and this is dessite me knocking off approx $80 for Y class for each sector, yet the stats say demand is approx 280 pax a day and im only operating a DC9 yet cant get the load factos up, what am I doing wrong? I have advertising albeit that its in newspapers and not on tv or radio or billboards, but surely advertising doesnt have that much effect on your load factors. HELP! :(

your image does. and more importantly, your route image does. Once that rises, then you will be able to score 75% Lfs and above. Eventually, if there is no competition, you will reacj the upper 80s to mid 90s

yep keep the marketing going, I usually start with a news paper radio and billboard for my airline in surrounding cities and same for my main routes. For the routes I only have them run for 5-6 months though after about 2-3 months my LF are about 75-80%, it also helps if you don;t get delays and cancellations.
