If a route has 20 daily demand, meaning the weekly demand is 140 and you fly an A319-100 on the route once a week which provides 126 seats I believe, is there any chance of 100% loadfactor?

No chance. Weekly demand cannot be broken down to one single weekly flight.

Okay thanks... so what the hell is the point in the "monthly demand" second on the route planning/open new route page. Get rid of it if it has no purpose.

I agree with this. It seems pretty stupid.

Daily demand on some of my small routes are 7 or 8 people. If I did 1 flight per a week, at least SOME of them in RL, would wait and fly out on the next available flight.

I am not saying if the route has 10 people per day and you fly once per week you should have 70 people.

I am however saying you should get around 30/40.

It's a bit of a game destroyer for trying to fly from a small airport.

Several recent changes have made small aircraft/routes more viable where you can fly nothing but 30-40 seaters and be profitable, especially if you are raising prices.  With a monopoly on those 30-40 pax routes, you can raise prices to 130% or so and still have high load factors.

I fly a lot of small aircrafts (14-17 pax) to nearby airports. And the ones with 4-5 routes per day give almost the same profit of a constellation with two routes.

Anyway all give at least 15 to 20k, that is not bad compared with 30 to 50 of the constellation. Especially if you consider that there are not all that 80+ pax routes starting from my base airport. While I can fill more than 20 small aircraft.

Don't forget to factor in ALL costs when considering if a small route makes a profit e.g # of pilots, # of ground staff, maint checks, etc that are added per plane / route
I doubt that routes of <20 pax per day will make money in the long run

Honestly I don't see the difference between 30K per week from an Heron (17 pax) flying 4 times per day to near destination and the 30K per week of a Fokker flying two times to farer destination.
Of course I could fill four flights per day in a Fokker. The problem is that such short higher demand route are very rare from my bases and with high competition that reduces my load factor. So even in this case, with some exception, I still get 30K.
All together my 22 Heron bring me more than 500K per week. They pay all the company staff salaries for example.

Of course if you are based in Heathrow, won't bother, but in smaller city everything is important.
