I tried, just out of curiosity...  It is not available to me as a French carrier.

I do remember that thread.  I think the difference is that Guadeloupe is considered part of France, not a colony.

I was HQed in Paris, and able to base in Guadeloupe, Algeria (pre-independence), Reunion, Martinique, and also a few other places, particularly in Africa, back in JA5.
